World IBD Day, 19 May 2022

This years World IBD Day is organised under the auspices of the European Federation of Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis Associations (EFCCA). We take this day as an opportunity to inform you about our patient-centric activities.

 

Swiss IBD Cohort Study:
Now ready to capture Patient-Reported Outcomes

The collection of "Patient-Reported Outcomes" (PROs) has gained importance. This is because subjective symptoms such as fatigue, pain or a reduction in quality of life can place a heavy burden on those affected. The Swiss IBD Cohort Study (SIBDCS) now offers patients the opportunity to record PROs using an app. The data is forwarded directly to the doctor and allows a rapid response in the event of a worsening of the disease.

IBDnet Research Grant 2022:
Call for protocol submission


This year, IBDnet is awarding two Research Grants for research projects that aim to improve the quality of care with a patient-centred approach. Applicants will be supported in finalizing the research protocol and submission of documents to the ethical committee.
